LOW MOISTURE CARPET EXTRACTION

Less Is More...Green Carpet Cleaning with Low Moisture

As concerns over the environment, global warming, and health and safety continue to be prevalent issues, low-moisture cleaning methods are proving to have some earth-friendly as well as people-friendly advantages.

Low-moisture carpet cleaning, as defined by the Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning Association (LMCCA), is any carpet cleaning method or procedure that allows the cleaned fibers to dry to their natural state in two hours or less at 65 percent relative humidity and 70 F. While this definition can include some hot water extraction methods, most low-moisture methods use less heat, less water, have fewer disposal issues and have less of a "carbon footprint" than most hot water extraction methods.

Polymer Encapsulation

Action Time’s low moisture maintenance program using polymer encapsulation cleans, brightens, and encapsulates dirt, dust mites, molds and mildews, making them easy to remove by daily vacuuming, improving indoor air quality and keeping your carpets in their optimal condition. The low moisture maintenance program uses less than 1 gallon of water for every 1,000 square feet, all with less than 30 minutes dry time!
