Gum removal is perhaps one of the most difficult tasks when maintaining carpet.  Our system, however, uses specialized tools and chemicals to ensure this task is completed effectively and efficiently.  By employing a gel-based chemical in conjunction with a comb-like tool, gum removal becomes a scientific process with excellent results.

Interim Low-Moisture Encapsulation Maintenance

Low-Moisture Encapsulation on an interim basis is the most cost effective way to clean, maintain and prolong the life of your carpet.  Crystallizing polymers blended with cleaning agents release and encapsulate soil particles without harming the carpet fibers. These crystal-like polymers attract dirt like a magnet and suspend it for easy removal by extraction (specialized vacuuming). This process has no odor and dries quickly. The specialized vacuuming  system also maximizes the appearance of the carpet pile.

1. The quicker spots are addressed, the better the outcome of the removal.
2. Know your carpet’s fiber make-up. The registry provided by The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification lists carpet cleaners that can determine the carpet’s fiber type.
3. Know where spots are likely to occur. It is vital that technicians carry a general-purpose spotter and specialty spotters at all times.
4. A general purpose water-based spotter will remove many spots in high soil-tracked areas.
5. Oil or solvent-based spotters work best on grease and tar spots.
6. Enzyme-based spotters work best on protein or fatty soils like vomit or blood.
7. Always blot spots with a cloth when applying a spotter. Do not rub the spotted area. Rubbing re-soils.
